Will this wire be enough?
Will the often recommended low voltage wire, described as 16 gauge, multi- stranded, dual conductor, direct burial wire be sufficient from 750 feet distance from source to gate. If so, what other wire should I put in, can I put two wires in and potentially use it for other gadgets?

Thank you for writing. To be honest, probably not. At 750 feet the 16 ga wire would likely not give you the strengh that you need. I might also add that it is usually dependent on the particular operator you will be using and often their recommendations can be found in their manuals. As a basic rule however, approximately 750 would likely require something more akin to an 8ga dual stranded wire.
