Most standard aluminum fence sections can follow the contour of the ground.
This is called either raking or racking. The fences drop about one foot over the 6' length of a section. If a greater slope is needed, sections can be specially fabricated as "double-punched sections" to traverse a 45 degree angle.
Patriot Fence and Regency "Plus" styles can not rake at all, while Concord, and 400 Series fence can only rake about 6 inches over their length.
Thank you for writing. Most all our styles of aluminum fence will ‘rake’, or adjust to follow the grade changes. Most standard styles will rake to account for as much as 8-10” per 6’ wide section of fence. It will vary per style. Also, in extreme cases, we can special build sections capable of raking as much as 3’ per 6’ section.
Further information on the ‘raking’ of panels may be found in our “Aluminum Fence” section of our website here:

Please note that once you choose (click-on) a style of ours online, more information specific to this style of fence will be displayed, including the ‘raking’ capability; again, it will vary depending on style.
