If you have a sloped yard how do you get an aluminum fence to follow the angle of the slope?
I'm wondering if anyone makes a bracket to attach wood 2X4s to 2 inch square metal posts? I've seen these type brackets for round metal posts, but not for square metal posts. Can you help?
Can I dump my pre-mix concrete in post hole or must I mix it first? Customer Question: My question deals with setting 4x4 pressure treated fence posts with concrete. I was wondering how important it is to mix the "pre-mix " concrete before I set my posts. I would like to take the easy way out and just add about 80 pounds of pre-mix without mixing it. Does that sound acceptable? I'm planning a 6' wood fence in a mountainous environment 8200' elevation with typical wind loads for that elevation. Please let me know what you think.

Hi, I need to cut a 50 foot by 4 foot cyclone fence in sections so I can build a couple of compost bins. What tool do/can I use to cut the links?
I have a big double swing driveway gate made out of western red cedar. Sometimes I'd like to leave it open for guests to simply pull in the driveway. What's the best way to do this?
I am interested in privacy slats for a 2" mesh chainlink fence. I prefer the alumimum ones, although I am a bit confused about how to install them. I like color #1, green.
My question is how much I should order. The fence is four feet high, and I have 2 sections (gate) that are high priority, each 5 ft wide, plus 2 additional sections that I MIGHT do, depending on cost, that are each 6 ft wide... in other words, I would like a quote for the costs for (a) 4 ft high by 10 ft wide and (b) 4 ft high by 24 ft wide.
Jerith Aluminum Fences are installed by setting a post in concrete and sliding the horizontal rails of a section into the pre-punched holes in the post. A second post is then set at the other end of the section. A second section slides into the second post, and so on. If you need less than a full section, simply cut the rails to the size you need with a saw.

I am trying to install a double gate on a slope. I'm not sure how to do this exactly. Can you give me some direction on this please?
I work for a city school system and I will be installing what they call "panic bars" on the outside playground. Do you have any information on how to install exit hardware like this on chain link or welded gate frames?
When installing vinyl fence, or any other type, how would you layout posts? We are on corner lot. Road side has about 5 feet from house, then 4 foot gate, then a few more feet, then double gate, then 9 feet to the corner. I have 8 foot section picket fence. I had contractor installing it. Now at the end of each row at the far corners are non-8 foot sections. Instead of starting at those corners and puting the odd sized sections out of view of the windows, so you wouldn't see that from the house, they started at the house and now we are looking at odd sized sections. On one side, they took a 9 foot space and divided it in half. I'm sure they are going to try and do the same thing on the other side, but that space is 11 feet. How would you have done this? I'm just frustrated because the posts are all setup, and I want them moved. The contractors left, and we haven't heard from them since. I think they are afraid to come back. Please answer ASAP. We ship almost every Jerith fence style in one week or less! There are no restrictions regarding the height or style of fence that we can ship this quickly. Arched top gates and large Industrial gates (including cantilevers) may take longer if we do not have them in stock. Fences that are coated white may take a few days longer as well.
My wife would like an ornamental fence around our garden, but the thought of digging holes does not have me too excited. Is there a way for me to pound in the posts, or install the aluminum fence without digging any holes?

I am looking for a corner rail clamp.
My upright post is 2 1/2 inches and the rails coming off if it will be 1 3/8
I found line rail clamps and end rail clamps online, but nothing that will allow two rails to come off of a center post at a 90 degree angle.

There is no such fitting as a 90 degree line rail clamp. Unfortunately a fitting like this would not make a secure bond of the post and rails.
You will need rail end cups in 1 3/8" for the rails.
They attach to the post with brace bands.
There is a 90 degree brace band, but I don't really like to use them. It's just as easy to use two brace bands with the proper rail end cups.
You'll notice that the hole for securing the brace band to the rail end cup is offset to one side. When installing rail end cups either in a straight line, or a corner, position one side with the offset going down, and the other side of the post with the offset going up. This will keep your rail level.
My fence is falling over. Is there some way to fix it without having to replace the whole thing?
I am a landlord and need a lock for a chain link fence. What can you recommend for two swing gates that meet in the middle? Want to lock the two pieces together, however I need tenants to be able to exit from one side in case of fire, want street side to be always locked. thank you

On which side of the fence does the poles go?
We have a problem with which we hope you can help. Two years ago we had a chain link fence and gate installed. Now the fire department informs us we need to have panic hardware on the gate. The gate we have is 72" wide and has corner posts that are 2 1/2". I looked on the website and I can't find anything that might work so I was hoping you could help.

Hi maybe you can help me. I am an architect in NYC and am working on a renovation to a community residence facility. It is a 1 family house and they would like to do the following:
chain link gate - 3' wide by 6' high, that has an electronic release - from inside the yard it would be a keypad and from outside the yard (to get in) it would be a push button that deactivates the electronic latch. They also asked that it be interconnected to their fire alarm system.
Do you have such a product? Or something very similar that does the same thing?
Also- what is the difference between fail safe and fail secure?
My chain link fence is 3' tall and the diamonds are 2 3/8". My first choice is to use winged slats- but the website says it will not work - second choice is to use the hedge slats for more privacy- will these work??? do they come in a 3' size????
